Genshin Impact: Frog Farming Locations Frogs are a common sight in wetland areas surrounding sources of water in Genshin Impact. The Blue Frog, the Mud Frog, and the ordinary green Frog are the three types of frogs that can be captured with the Omni-Ubiquity Net or collected for the Frog crafting material. Frogs can’t be bought from any of Genshin Impact’s vendors, therefore the only way to get them is to farm them. Frogs are used to make Potions that boost the damage of all party members when ingested. Unmoving Essential Oil, a new Potion released in Genshin Impact 2.6, is notably useful for fighting opponents within the Chasm due to its Geo DMG enhancing properties.
The Chasm, a new explorable location comprised of massive underground mines, was introduced in the 2.6 update for Genshin Impact. Players must first break the Chasm’s seal by destroying Bedrock Keys in Genshin Impact as part of the “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering” mission before they can access the mines. After then, players can embark on “The Chasm Delvers” World Tasks, which consist of six discrete quests that, when completed, will illuminate the Chasm’s Underground Mines. The Unmoving Essential Oil crafting formula will learned during the fourth phase of this questline. And players will challenged with produce three of these oils, each requiring two Frogs.
Frogs found in wetland areas next to bodies of water in Genshin Impact’s Mondstadt region. Such as the pond around the Springvale teleport waypoint, the ponds near the Thousand Winds Temple, and the lake near Dadaupa Gorge. The lakes to the west of the Dawn Winery in Genshin Impact, along the Liyue border, appear to have the highest concentration of frogs in the region. Frogs can also spotted in small groups in Stormterror’s Lair’s pools. Surprisingly, there are no Frogs on the shores of Cider Lake, the lake that surrounds the city of Mondstadt.
In every region, the best place to farm frogs is the Genshin Impact.

Frogs abound in Liyue, and luckily for gamers. They’re largely concentrated in one spot. The bodies of water to the west of Liyue Harbo. Following the water to Lingju Pass and Qingxu Pool. Frogs and Crabs can found in the waters of Luhua Pool north of Liyue Harbor. As well as throughout Bishui Plain. Between Qinqce Village and the Liyue-Mondstadt border, there are also Frogs. So players should keep a look out in this area. Finally, there are a few Frogs hopping along the borders of the Underground Waterway within the newly-added Chasm.
There are no Frogs in Inazuma, except for a pair in the Serpent’s Bowels part of Enkanomiya. Therefore players should avoid farming for Frogs in the Electro region. When it comes to Frogs, Liyue is the clear leader. Making it the go-to spot for Genshin Impact players wishing to harvest Frogs for crafting recipes. Mondstadt isn’t far behind Liyue, and its shorelines are teeming with Frogs. Genshin Impact is constantly updating and adding new content, with the newest area Sumeru set to launch in Summer 2022. Sumeru’s inclusion should hopefully result in even more Frog farming places.
