How To Fix Bugged Quest In Horizon Forbidden West. Nothing is more frustrating than a bugged main quest.
Horizon Forbidden West was recently released to mostly excellent reviews, with appreciation for its magnificent open world and improved gameplay over the previous game. This continuation of Aloy’s journey will not disappoint fans of the original. That is, until you encounter a game-breaking mission.
The Broken Sky is a main quest in Horizon Forbidden West in which an NPC has an animation bug that prevents the quest from progressing. But don’t worry, we’ll show you how to fix it.
How To Fix Bugged Quest – Horizon Forbidden West
The mission requires you to follow Kotallo, an NPC who places a cannon on the ground for Aloy to use to kill the Bulwark. Unfortunately, the game crashes, and Kotallo becomes locked in a never-ending cycle of firing the cannon. Fortunately, the solution is straightforward and takes only a few minutes.
- Go find the closest campfire you can.
- You must perform a manual save once around a campfire. It’s a good idea to save again just in case.
- Press start and load the manual save after you’ve manually saved your game.
- Allow the game to load it before returning to Kotello.
- When you return to Kotello, the game will have resolved the problem on its own, allowing you to continue with the main objective.
This is the only option to repair the bug right now. But I’m confident that Guerilla Games will be able to fix this minor glitch in the next days.
