In Pokemon GO, how do you catch Salandit?
Salandit first appeared in Pokemon GO’s All-Hands Rocket Retreat as Cliff, Sierra, and Arlo, the three main Team GO Rocket goons. You’ll have to beat all three of them not only once to get to Giovanni, but you’ll have to beat them several times to get a chance at Salandit.
Salandit can only be obtained by a 12km Egg. And conquering Cliff, Sierra, or Arlo is the only way to get a Strange Egg, or a 12km Egg. This is where things get really tough. Salandit is one of ten Pokemon that may be obtained by hatching a 12km Egg. As a result, you’ll have to keep fighting Team GO Rocket until you get lucky with a Salandit.

In Pokemon GO, here’s how you get Salazzle
Salazzle is currently unavailable for capture. The only way to get one is to evolve your Salandit into a Salazzle, which is a different problem altogether. You’ll need 50 Salandit candy to evolve a female Salandit after hatching a Salandit from a 12km Egg. In Pokemon GO, evolutions require 50 Candy, but unlike the original game, only a female Salandit can develop into a Salazzle.
With such a demanding mix of activities to do in order to obtain Salandit and Salazzle, these Pokemon are currently among the most scarce in the game. Because they are a Poison and Fire-type Pokemon, they are incredibly valuable.
Is it possible for Salandit or Salazzle to be shiny?
It’s exceedingly rare for Niantic to introduce a dazzling new Pokemon in Pokemon GO. So, no, Salandit and Salazzle aren’t able to be shiny in Pokemon GO just yet. They have shiny forms in their original games, thus they could appear in Pokemon GO sooner rather than later. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
