This means that you must first investigate specific locations on the game’s map before purchasing them. EX Headstrong is one such skill, and our guide explains how to obtain it.
The relevant memory point can found within Bar Tender. The bar is located just south of Nakamichi Alley, close to Kotobuki Drugs. It is part of the same building chunk as Sushi Zanmai on the map, but on the opposite side of the rectangular structure.
When you walk into Bar Tender, you’ll notice the familiar pulsating aura of light at the far end of the table from the bar’s entrance. By pressing down on the left analogue stick, you can activate Kaito’s primal senses. Examine the spot on the table with his primal eye, prompting him to reminisce about past conversations with his anikis from his former yakuza life.

At this point, EX Headstrong unlocked, which costs 5,000 SP and can found on the skills screen under the Bruiser tree. It is, as the name implies, an EX action, which requires at least one segment of the EX gauge to activated. When Kaito knocked down by a flashing red health bar, activating EX Headstrong causes an animation in which he immediately gets up and flings himself at his attacker.
