Varre Blanche
Despite its secrecy, the path to Mohgwyn Palace starts almost immediately. The mysterious NPC “White-Faced Varre” offers advice on the Guidance of Grace and the path to Stormveil Castle.
After defeating Godrick the Grafted and visiting the Two-Fingers at Roundtable Hold, Varre vanishes, leaving behind a short message. Look for him at the Rose Church.
Rose-Church
The Rose Church is a ruined church in Liurna of the Lakes that appears to flooded with blood. Varre reappears outside the church, offering a gruesome but valuable item. The Festering Bloody Fingers he gives the player can used to invade other players’ worlds and kill them for runes and Rune Arcs.

Once a player has invaded another player three times (with or without success), Varre will offer to anoint the player as a “knight to serve Luminary Mohg, the Lord of Blood.” Varre will then have players soak a cloth called the “Lord of Blood’s Favor” in blood from a Finger Maiden.
The Church of Inhibition & Chapel of Anticipation
The Finger Maiden’s blood can used to soak the favour and complete Varre’s request. This is the easier method, as it only requires travelling across the region to the Rose Church.
Alternatively, go to the Four Belfries west of Liurna of the Lakes and activate the portal beneath the second Belfry to return to the Chapel of Anticipation. After vengeance on the Grafted Scion, players can return to the Chapel and soak the cloth with the Maiden’s corpse.
Varre will give the Pureblood Knight’s Medal to the player after they return to him after soaking the cloth and returning to Mohgwyn Palace.
The Other Way to Mohgwyn
Traveling to Mohgwyn Palace without the Pureblood Knight’s Medal requires finding a hidden portal in the Consecrated Snowfields. This hidden portal leads to Mohgwyn Palace, located beneath Caelid, to the northwest of the Yelough Anix Tunnel.
