While Larval Tears aren’t the most prevalent things in the game, there are more than a dozen available to players. Elden Ring: Larval Tear Locations
Limgrave
- From the Agheel Lake South Site of Grace, head east. When you dispatch an undead adversary with a sword standing on a cliff, it will transform into a bear. Elden Ring rewards a Larval Tear for slaying the bear.
Liurnia (South)
- To get to Elden Ring’s Village of the Albinaurics, start at the Folly on the Lake Site of Grace in southwest Limgrave. This settlement has a graveyard where the Larval Tear can be found.
- Kill the lobster opponent north of the Folly on the Lake Site of Grace. It will transform into a Scion as a result of this action, and dispatching it will produce another Larval Tear.
Liurnia (North)
- Pass through the Behind Caria Manor Site of Grace and into the graveyard after defeating Royal Knight Loretta in Elden Ring’s Caria Manor. To earn a Larval Tear, interact with the ghost on the chair.
- Look for a scarab along the eastern cliff from the Three Witches site above Caria Manor to the northwest. Drop from this vantage point to the top of one of the Manor’s buildings, then descend via the wooden platforms on the west side. To obtain the opportunity to purchase a Larval Tear, climb the ladder that leads down through a hole in the roof and chat with the NPC inside the structure twice.
Caelid

- Look for an undead adversary hiding in the ruins to the east of the Altus Plateau Minor Erdtree. This opponent will change into a Lion Guardian and drop a Larval Tear.

Siofra River
- Ride northeast to a lift after reaching the Siofra River through the well east of Mistwood’s Minor Erdtree. At the top of the lift, continue east to find some wood scaffolding near a waterfall. To reach a trader who sells a Larval Tear, scale the wood scaffolding and continue the way beyond the waterfall.
Nokron, Eternal City
- Fans should walk east into the courtyard and enter the building on the right to locate a Larval Tear from the Nokron, Eternal City Site of Grace, which can be found during Ranni’s questline in Elden Ring.
- In the location to the west of the Mimic Tear boss fight, there is a gazebo with a Larval Tear on the corpse underneath it.
- Two Larval Tears are awarded after defeating the Mimic Tear boss.
- Take the stairs on the right as you head north from the Night’s Sacred Ground Site of Grace in Elden Ring. These stairs lead to a big building with a Larval Tear if you destroy the iron ball inside.
Nokstella, Eternal City
- Elden Ring players can visit this site while completing Ranni’s quest, and the Larval Tear can be obtained by dispatching the iron ball on the bridge near the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella Site of Grace.
