Godskin Prayerbook Location In Elden Ring. The Godskin Prayerbook is a low-level Dark Incantation book obtained early in Elden Ring that allows players access to a range of low-level Dark Incantations.
Many NPCs in Elden Ring will only sell certain goods if you first give them something to learn from. In the Lands Between, Sorcery Scrolls are used to unlock new Sorceries from select spellcaster dealers. Prayerbooks serve the same purpose as Incantations, allowing Faith-based players to acquire additional spells from one of two priestly NPCs.
The Godskin Prayerbook can be found in Stormveil Castle, but not in any other location where players would expect to find it. It unlocks two of the greatest early-to-mid-game Incantations, and if you plan to utilise Faith offensively, it’s highly worth upgrading your Elden Ring parkour abilities simply to be able to get these.
A Heretical Tome: The Godskin Prayerbook
According to the item description, the Godskin Prayerbook is linked to the “God-slaying Black Flame,” a feature of Elden Ring that players will have to learn more about on their own. The Godskin Prayerbook unlocks two dark Incantations: Black Flame and Black Flame Blade, as the name implies.
Black Flame is a high-FP variation of Flame Sling that causes more damage and stays. On enemies for a few seconds after the first attack, causing ticking damage. For a few seconds, Blade Flame Blade imbues your currently equipped Armament with the power of the Black Flame. Causing every hit to cause lingering ticking damage.
Where Can I Get A Godskin Prayerbook?
Head to the Rampart Tower Site of Lost Grace. Just before a wall with Sword Birds encircled by exploding barrels, to find the Godskin Prayerbook. When you leave the room, glance to your right, away from the Birds, to see if there is a roof. It appears to be a long distance, but with a sprinting jump, you can make it – and if you fail. There’s a Site of Lost Grace nearby to try again. Turn left when you reach the roof and look down for a spot to descend. Because the drop to the ground is too great to survive. Look for a position halfway down before returning to the inner courtyard.
If you dropped from the rooftop, you should find a set of stairs heading down into a Fog Wall right next to you. You can bypass this parkour portion entirely by going through the courtyard properly. But there are some pretty strong foes here (especially for low-level players). Prepare to confront a swarm of rats if you use a Stonesword Key on the Imp Statue here. Beyond the rats are two chests, one containing the Godskin Prayerbook and the other containing the Godslayer’s Seal. A useful catalyst for Black Flame Incantations.
