How To Complete Irina Of Carim Questline In Elden Ring. Most FromSoftware games have enigmatic, long, and complicated NPC quests. This is true for Elden Ring and most of their games. In Dark Souls 3, progressing the questline of Yoel of Londor was important for an alternate ending.
Most RPGs give players a Quest Journal, Map Objectives, or other things that can help them progress the storey of the game’s many NPCs. Elden Ring doesn’t. In the early stages of the game, you can start a quest for Irina, a near-blind maiden who was on her way out of Castle Morne when her carriage was ambushed by rebellious servants.

Take Irina’s Quest to the Bridge of Sacrifice to start.
Across the Mistveil Woods and Castle Morne, you can find the Bridge of Sacrifices in Limgrave, to the east of these two places. Keep going on the path that leads out of Limgrave and you’ll eventually come across this bridge. Be careful of the ballista and the small army of soldiers that protect it. There is also a site of lost grace after the bridge.
It’s best to go to Irina, who is sitting on the ground next to a few bodies of Godrick soldiers. Then she wants you to deliver a letter to her father Edgar, the Commander of Castle Morne, to make sure he knows that she’s alive.
Bring her letter to Edgar, who is in charge of Castle Morne.
It’s a short drive from Irina to Castle Morne, which is to the south. A Smouldering Giant with a huge bow is guarding the entrance to Castle Morne. Take out his legs and dance around his slow but powerful attacks to get rid of this bother. In front of the Castle, there is a place called the Site of Lost Grace.

In the Castle, Edgar is right on top of a tower. Head into the courtyard from the Lost Grace. Either fight or sneak past the horde of demi-humans to find a ladder that leads to the top. There are two flying enemies and a group of demi-humans that you need to kill on your way across the walkway. You will see a path that goes left through a fight. Edgar is on top of a tower by himself, not far from this fight. Deliver the letter to him and finish talking with him.
Greatsword: Get the graft-blade sword from the boss to go back to Edgar.
Edgar wants to stay at Castle Morne and fight for it until he dies, as Godrick told him to. He says that his job is to make sure that the sword of Castle Morne doesn’t fall into the hands of the enemy. Head back through the fight and look for a drop-down menu to a lost site of grace. There is a steep cliff behind this Lost Grace site.
As you head down the cliff, jump down the rooftops until you get to the bottom. There, you’ll find a lot of jellyfish that aren’t moving and a big fog door. There is a demi-human boss behind this fog door, and he has the Grafted Blade Greatsword in his hand. Taking down the Leonid Misbegotten gives you this Greatsword. You will have to fast travel to the first Lost Grace in Castle Morne in order to get back to Edgar and let him finish his work.
Go Back To Irina To Find Edgar, Who Vows Revenge
After Edgar gives up Castle Morne, you can find him at the spot where Irina used to sit. The word “once” is used because Irina is, in fact, no longer alive. End of quest line: Edgar’s quest is linked to hers as he vows to get back at the people who killed his daughter.
In Elden Ring, this is one of the first NPC quests you can do. Irina didn’t understand what was going on when the servants rioted. Edgar has to live with a lot of guilt because he chose service over his daughter. His plans for the rest of his life with her didn’t work out. Before leaving Castle Morne, he says he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
