Guard Counters are undoubtedly a mechanic worth studying if you’re a melee player who isn’t already employing them.
The Curved Sword Talisman’s Location
The Curved Sword Talisman is located towards the beginning of Stormveil Castle. When you initially approach the Castle, take the gatekeeper’s suggested shortcut and pursue it until you reach a building with a lot of bomb-throwing adversaries and explosive containers all over the place. Ascend the ladders, defeating opponents along the way, until you reach a dark room on your right.
When you walk into this room, the lights dim and the door slams shut behind you. A Banished Knight, a fairly strong shield-user, will ambush you after a second or two. Kill them and search the back of the dark room for a chest containing the Curved Sword Talisman.
