Gem Mines Guide In Roguebook

Gem Mines Guide In Roguebook. In Roguebook, players must battle their way through terrible beasts and wild places in order to escape the storybook in which they are trapped. There will be plenty of mysterious locales and stuff for them to work through over the three Roguebook chapters, and one of these destinations is the gem mines.

What are Gem Mines in Roguebook?

Gem Mines are a Roguebook instance that allows players to find tremendous treasure but at a high risk; they were added to Roguebook in the most recent major update in 2021. They only show up once per playthrough, and they always appear in Chapter 2. The are optional for players to skip; they are not essential to complete a run. It’s also a good thing, considering the entry fee is quite hefty.

The hero teams must pay two brushes to enter the Gem Mines, which is a lot considering that even in the New Run Plus edition of Roguebook, players usually only have 4 to 5 brushes at the start of the level. While Elite battles do add more brushes to a player’s hand, finding Elites while exploring can be difficult. So, in order to get the most out of each Gem Mine, players should plan ahead before diving into its depths in search of treasure.

The Hazards of the Gem Mines

Players will learn that there are two alternative paths forward when entering a Gem Mine in the deckbuilding roguelite video game. Each cave’s entrance is to the left or right, and players can look ahead to see what awaits them. After deciding on a course, gamers should click the lock icon in the direction they want to go. Each lock icon represents a struggle with a certain door-type monster, each with its own unique strategy for preventing the players from winning the battle.

  • The Crystal Wall only provides players three chances to deal the same amount of harm as it does health. If players try to do too much harm, the door will reject it. Every time it spins, it returns to full health.
  • The Three Flowers are three different foes that when killed do a lot of bleed damage to gamers. Each bloom provides the main character with a stack of 25 bleed. To kill these creatures without receiving a lot of damage, players will have to deliver damage to each one individually and then kill them all in one turn before the bleed damage takes effect.
  • The Turret is a machine that takes damage every time it is damaged by a player. When a card is played, players are required to discard and redraw their whole hand. To get through in only three turns, the heroes will need a lot of block and big damage cards.
  • The Brick Wall is another wall that reflects damage back to the heroes, but each time the heroes swap places, it receives 10 non-reflected damage.
  • Another reflected damage dealer is the Ball. It, like all the other barriers, does not cause any damage.
  • Players must only survive three rounds against the Pendulum to win. It has 999 health and can deal massive damage if it isn’t harmed, but it loses strength every time the players attack it.

If Roguebook players fail the struggle against the Wall guarding their chosen path, they will suffer two Wound Cards and the path will be barred. Instead, players will have to take the alternate route.
