What Happened To The Tools?
Max will greeted with a vast area lined with cupboards. When she enters the garage through the Price’s living room entrance. A washer-dryer combo located along the left side of the room, to the right of David’s rifle cabinet. On top of which Max can see the tools perilously poised on some boxes labelled “William’s Stuff.”
How To Reach Them
If you gaze up at the tools, Max will say she can’t reach them; instead, look down at the washing machine, as Max will now be able to turn it on.
The vibrations from the machine will knock the tools off the floor beneath a cabinet, putting them out of reach of the player once more. Max will notice a loose piece of cardboard on the floor beside them if he looks down towards where they landed. Max can push this cardboard under the cabinet, but he won’t be able to do so right now.

Secrets Of David (Spoilers Ahead)
A series of wooden cupboards runs along the back wall to the right of the washer/dryer. To see what’s inside, open the cupboard on the left, nearest to the washing machine.
There’s a map of Blackwell with red circles on it, as well as a TV that Max may switch on. Do so, and she’ll see that David, the “little tool,” has live video feeds of rooms throughout the house, and she’ll worry if Joyce and Chloe are aware of this. In the top left corner of the screen, a small dialogue symbol will emerge, indicating that this information will be relevant later.
A collection of files stands atop a cupboard all the way to the right, at the end of the row. If you grab them, Max will unintentionally send them tumbling to the ground, landing in a pool of automobile oil.
What the player does here will have a minor influence on David’s behaviour later in the game. If Max examines the files, she will discover that David has been keeping eyes on Blackwell students, particularly Kate Marsh, and has taken unobtrusive images of her. Max can address this with Chloe later in the episode when they analyse David’s motivations.
David will bring up Max’s poking around the garage if she leaves any proof. Using Max’s rewind skills to return the files and close the TV cabinet, on the other hand, will render him completely unconscious. Whatever the player picks will have a minor affect on the game, modifying only a few lines of speech.
Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is currently available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch version coming later in 2022.
