Kizlev’s command
Unlocking Boris Ursus is no easy task, and even getting to the point where his unlock quest is available would necessitate a significant amount of setup. The player must be playing as one of Kizlev’s other two lords (Tzarina Katarin or Kostaltyn) and hold control of Kislev’s three major cities: Kislev, Praag, and Erengrad in order for the mission to appear.
The capitals of the River Urskoy, The Cursed City, and River Lynsk must all under the player’s control before Boris’ quest may unlocked.
Katarin has an early edge in this regard, as she already has Kislev under her control and is able to play in close proximity to Praag. She also strikes up a friendly relationship with the group in charge of Erengrad, allowing her to take the city with some deft political manoeuvring. The “Frozen Falls” quest fight will appear if you hold these cities for 10 turns. Players can then either manually travel to the place or use the quest tab to teleport there.
Ursus Unlockus is the name of the operation.
Players should now be able to advance to the “Frozen Falls” quest battle after completing the necessary preparation for the quest to become accessible. Boris is hibernating within the ice, surrounded by Tzeentch’s forces. It’s time to save our great lord and recruit him.
The player must defeat three Tzeentch Sorcerers distributed over the combat map in order to win this battle. Because will come to the player once aggroed, this task can played defensively, luring them into ambushes and eliminating them one by one.

Attacking certain foes on the map, on the other hand, will bring in more reinforcements, further aggravating the situation. Screamers of Tzeentch, Chaos Furies, and a Soul Grinder appear upon fighting the Irridecent Horror on the left of the starting location, while attacking the one on the right summons a force of Flamers of Tzeentch. Prepare for ambushes and avoid bringing in both sets of reinforcements at the same time.
Boris will liberated once the three Sorcerers have defeated, and the player will have three alternatives. They have the option of granting Boris one of the three great cities. As his own faction’s capital, recruiting him into their army, or allowing him to go. Boris now permanently unlocked for future campaigns, regardless of the option selected. Allowing the player to start the game as him in the future.
Legendary Lord Boris Ursus
Boris Ursus is a fantastic legendary lord who begins his campaign in Zorn Uzkul. A new starting place with a new cinematic. His starting position is a long way from the other Kislev factions. And he also has to deal with Greenskin and Skaven factions in the area.
He gains improved ties with the Ice Court, halved construction costs for garrisons and religious buildings, shorter construction periods. And increased recruiting ranks for Bear Rider troops, who also benefit from lower army upkeep expenses. When facing the Daemons of Chaos, Warriors of Chaos, and Norsca. He obtains an army-wide increase to leadership and melee assaults.
On top of that, he gets a one-of-a-kind mount in the form of the bear Urskin. His skill trees contain benefits that allow him to erase colonisation penalties and reduce construction timelines for his whole faction. Which he can also grant to other lords’ factions if recruited in their campaigns.
