How To Solve The Runner’s Wild Relic Ruins Puzzle In Horizon Forbidden West. In general, the more westward players go in Horizon Forbidden West, the more difficult the game becomes. This applies not only to the machines they’ll encounter in the rocky wastelands, but also to some of the problems they’ll have to solve. Those attempting to master the Runner’s Wild Relic Ruins will soon discover this for themselves.
Horizon Forbidden West players will have to use the multi-layered environment around them to arrange crates in order to find the ornament in the Runner’s Wild Relic Ruins. They’ll also need to employ the Pullcaster and the Igniter, two of Aloy’s special tools. As a result, players won’t be able to finish the ruins until they’ve completed the main plot objective Death’s Door.
How to Get the Altar Room Key
Players should head around to the north side of the structure and look for a blue metal grate in one of the walls when they arrive at the Runner’s Wild Relic Ruins. They’ll need to climb the wall near the tall tower and then slide down into the structure below after pulling this out. Inside, there’s another metal grating to be removed with the Pullcaster, as well as a Firegleam crystal to be ignited with the Igniter.
Players will see a crate on a platform to their left after passing through the hole in the wall caused by the Firegleam crystal. This must be drawn down with the Pullcaster and then passed through the three holes created by the players. A yellow beam in the most northerly room can be used to climb up onto the roof, where another crate can be found.
Players must now push the crate down to ground level and into one of the courtyard’s little alcoves, before stacking the other crate on top of it from the raised space above. They’ll then have to return to the room with the Firegleam crystals and the stack of two boxes. They can reach the yellow beams above and the Altar Room Key by climbing onto the crates.

How to Get the Ornament
Players will find themselves in a room with another destructible wall after unlocking the key door to the north of the tall tower. They’ll need to slide the double-stacked crates around to the opening on the south-facing wall of the structure after pulling the blue metal frame out with the Pullcaster, and then head inside and pull the top crate in (either using Aloy’s hands or the Pullcaster).
Players must just push the crate through the opened keyhole and up the mossy concrete slope from here. This will allow them to scale the tall tower’s western wall and eventually gain access. They should pick up the ornament, which is smack dab in the middle of the tower’s upper area, to finish the Runner’s Wild Relic Ruins. There is no need for a passcode here, unlike most other Relic Ruins.
