Where To Hide
Turn around as David begins to knock and the player is handed command of Max. The player can choose between hiding under the bed or in the closet. The closet along the wall opposite the window is Max’s last remaining choice because she can’t fit under the bed; however, opening the closet causes a light to fall over, blocking your passage in.
Rewinding To The Start
Rewind Max’s time powers as far as she can and stare at the lamp at this point. She will now be able to successfully hide by moving the lamp before opening the closet door.
The Major Choice (Spoilers Ahead)
In this chapter, the main decision is whether or not Max accepts responsibility for Chloe’s weed.
Max Didn’t Hide From David
If the player does not hide at all, Chloe will accuse Max for the weed, and the player will be given the option of accepting the responsibility or blaming Chloe.
Max Successfully Hid From David
If Max manages to conceal, Chloe will not hold it against her, and the player will be given the choice of identifying themselves and accepting responsibility or remaining hidden.

Choices and Consequences
In both circumstances, accepting responsibility has virtually the same result: Chloe will remain cheerful and show Max the stolen gun, but Max’s Blackwell record may be permanently marred.
Chloe will be angry if she isn’t allowed to show Max her new toy since she is staying concealed. Putting the responsibility back on Chloe, on the other hand, will enrage her and cause her to flee the room. Regardless of what David says, either of these solutions absolves Max, but they will have a long-term impact on Max and Chloe’s relationship.
Remember to Rewind
Even if the player succeeds in enraging Chloe with Max, they can rewind even further back than the spiral allows, all the way back to when David begins banging on the door, providing them the opportunity to flee if they so desire. This page contains a complete summary of the long-term repercussions of these decisions.
