The Contractor Trailer 2022 Released. The official trailer for Tarik Saleh’s upcoming action movie The Contractor, starring Chris Pine, Kiefer Sutherland, and others, has revealed. On April 1, 2022, it will released in cinemas and on VOD.
The soldier in the video feels deceived by the Army after he involuntarily discharged and pension turned off. As a result, he has little choice but to join a private military group to help support his family.
Tarik Saleh directs The Contractor (formerly titled Violence of Action) from a script by J.P. Davis. Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Gillian Jacobs (Community, Come Play). Eddie Marsan (Hobbs & Shaw), Fares Fares (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, A Way Out). Nina Hoss (A Most Wanted Man), and Amira Casar. Will join Pine and Sutherland in the film (Call Me By Your Name).

According to the synopsis, “the action-packed drama follows Special. Forces Sergeant James Harper, who involuntarily discharged from the Army and stripped of his pension. Harper contracts with a private underground military organisation because he in debt. Out of choices, and desperate to support for his family. When the first mission goes bad. The elite soldier finds himself pursued and on the run, caught up in a perilous plot and battling. To stay alive long enough to return home and discover the true motivations of those who have betrayed him.”
