Ginger Island Parrots That Unlock New Areas
1 Golden Walnut – Leo’s Hut

The north half of the island may be unlocked for a single Golden Walnut, which can found easily along the walk from the beach. At addition, the parrot in Leo’s house will give the player hints as to how many Golden Walnuts they still need to find across the island.
Moving The Turtle & Bridge Repair – 10 Golden Walnuts Each
To access the rest of Ginger Island, players must acquire a total of 20 Golden Walnuts. Half of these can be fed to the Parrot on the beach west of the Docks, near the sleeping turtle. This will allow players to access the Island Farm on the west side of the island. The Parrot to the west of the Island Field Office can given the remaining 10 Golden Walnuts. This will fix the bridge leading to the Dig Site, which is identical to the Mines and Quarry in Pelican Town.

- The final four Parrots on Ginger Island are all about developing shortcuts. That allow Stardew Valley players to avoid some of the island’s more irritating or tough areas:
- Once the Farmhouse is finished, feed 20 Golden Walnuts to the Parrot. At the farm to unlock the Farm Obelisk (Warp Totem).
- Volcano Bridge – After completing the Volcano Dungeon, players must feed 5 Golden Walnuts to the Parrot near the entrance.
- Volcano Exit Shortcut – Unlocked by feeding 5 Golden Walnuts to the Parrot on level 5 of the Dungeons. Which creates a shortcut to the Volcano’s east side.
- Paying 10 Golden Walnuts to the Parrot north of the farm unlocks the Parrot Express. Which allows players to easily fly across Ginger Island.
