Lost Ark: How To change AFK Timer. Make it so you can take a break from the game for a while.
An AFK Timer is a common feature in any MMORPG game. The timer in MMORPGs makes players who haven’t moved in several minutes leave the server so that other players can join faster. AFK stands for “away from keyboard,” and it makes players who haven’t moved in several minutes leave the server so that other players can join faster. As Lost Ark players are well aware, the formerly Korean-only game features a punishing AFK Timer. Fortunately, you can modify the amount of time that passes before you’re labelled AFK and thrown off the server.
In Lost Ark, the AFK Timer is set to 15 minutes by default. While 15 minutes is a good amount of time, if you’re doing something else outside of the game, it can go rather rapidly. You’ll be kicked and sent back to the server screen if you leave the game for more than 15 minutes. With how successful Raiders of the Lost Ark has become with its new western release, this could be the end of your server waiting time. When trying to join a server, some players have reported waiting over an hour in lines with thousands of other players.

To avoid this, set your AKF Timer to a much more forgiving setting. Continue reading to learn how to do so in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
In Lost Ark, You Can change The AFK Timer
To modify the timer, go to the main menu and select Settings from the drop-down menu. Go to the “Settings” tab on the side of the screen, then to the “Gameplay” tab. Press “Controls and Display” in Gameplay to access the “AFK Settings” option.
You can adjust the AFK Timer from here to whatever you think is appropriate. You can, of course, set it higher than you require, but this may prohibit other players from joining the server. The setting has a maximum duration limit of 60 minutes. As a result, you will be kicked if you spend more than one hour away from your computer while playing Lost Ark.
