Traits Complete Guide In The Sims 4. Traits in The Sims 4 refer to a Sim’s attributes or qualities. Some were included in the base game, while others were included as part of the Expansion Packs for The Sims 4. Every new Trait, such as the Maker Trait from Eco Lifestyle, is usually linked to the new Pack in some way.
Sims will be able to experience specific emotions for a limited time thanks to traits. In The Sims 4, this feature is known as Moodlets. In Live Mode, these Moodlets will appear beneath Sim’s portrait. It’s important to remember that choosing distinct Traits will result in the appearance of many Moodlets.

How Does Traits Work In The Sims 4
Personality, Bonus, Death, and Reward Traits are the four types of Traits. Some can be chosen at the start of The Sims 4, while others must be won through various means.
Personality Traits
Personality Traits may be found in Create A Sim (CAS). Simmers can choose up to four different Traits for Young Adults and older, three different Traits for Teens, two different Traits for Children, and one different Trait for Toddlers. It’s worth noting that Toddlers’ Traits are distinct from the others.
Emotional, Hobby, Lifestyle, and Social Traits are the four different categories. Each has a set of traits that can aid Sims in their careers and social lives.
