How To Get Piplup In Pokemon Legends Arceus. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players can find Sinnoh’s Water-type starter, Piplup, in the following locations.
The conventional formula of having beginning Pokemon from the same region is broken in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Rowlet of Alola, Cyndaquil of Johto, and Oshawott of Unova are the three characters available in Hisui. The Hisui Pokedex includes the starter Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, but players will have to catch them in the wild this time.
Piplup is the Sinnoh region’s Water-type starter. Before they have a chance to catch it, players must travel through the plot of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Piplup, like Turtwig and Chimchar, has only one appearance in Hisui, which becomes accessible once players obtain the Ride Pokemon, Basculegion.
Piplup’s Current Location
Piplup may be found near Islespy Shore in the Cobalt Coastlands of Hisui.
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players will be able to access the third area. Players will quickly find that if they want to explore every nook of the Cobalt Coastlands, they’ll need a Pokemon that can traverse water. If this is your first trip to the coastlands, start with Mission 10: The Lordless Island, then Basculegion will ultimately be added to the Celestial Flute.
- Surf out of Ginkgo Landing with Basculegion.
- Continue straight to Islespy Shore, passing through Lunker’s Lair, Seagrass Haven, and Lunker’s Lair.
- Stronger Pokemon like Walrein, Sealeo, and an Alpha Empoleon can be found on Islespy Shore. The Alpha Empoleon should be avoided because its level will be in the upper 60s, making it extremely powerful for trainers with a lower star rank.
- A white cave icon and a pond should be visible on the map if you look attentively. Spring Path is the white cave, but disregard it for now.
- Proceed to Islespy Shore, a little pond to the north of the map. Bibarels and at least one Piplup should be in the area.
Piplup is a shy Pokemon who will flee if players approach too closely. To avoid this, use a Berry to distract Piplup and approach it while crouched. Getting a back strike catch is the greatest way to get Piplup. Engaging it in combat provides it the opportunity to flee.
If players are extremely lucky, they may come across an Alpha Piplup, who will be between levels 20 and 30. Piplups of this size will be around level 12, therefore it will need to level up before evolving into Prinplup.
On Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Legends: Arceus is currently available.
