Little Tanuki Location Genshin Impact Players must play with a Bake-Danuki in the Genshin Impact event Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas. This Inazuma-based Genshin Impact yokai would entice passers-by before disguising itself as an ordinary object to “hide.” Players must take a tanuki named Kichiboushi on an expedition outside of Inazuma in this event. Kichiboushi invites the Traveler to play with him in the first section, morphing into easily spotted things if players aren’t paying attention.
This Genshin Impact event has a total of seven locations. Here are all of the artifacts Kichiboushi hides as in Area 1.
Tanuki’s Location in Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas – Area 1
Travelers must first meet Ioroi in Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest, a sub-quest of the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual World Quest in Genshin Impact, in order to participate in this event. Then, at Chinju Forest, speak with Ioroi to begin the event. This yokai was cursed to be a stone a long time ago, and he needs the Traveler’s assistance in tracking down his tanuki.
Ioroi gives Travelers an unique food in order for them to be able to communicate with the beast. After that, go locate Kichiboushi to check if the food worked.
Kichiboushi’s Hiding Spots in Area 1
Go to Genshin Impact’s Dragonspine in Mondstadt once everything is in place. Players must follow the Bake-Danuki until it transforms into an object in order to play with it. When Travelers get close enough, the tanuki will “roll” in the air and disappear, so make sure you don’t miss him.
After a period of following Kichiboushi, he will transform into a torch. Simply light the flashlight to “discover” him.
For this mission, players can employ Pyro, Electro, or Anemo. The Pyro will jump from the campfire due to Electro’s Overload reaction, while Anemo’s Swirl will spread the Element. burning everything in its path.

Continue across the bridge until you reach a snow pile close to a Ruin Brazier. Use Pyro to melt the ice, or use the nearby campfire to create Elemental Reactions with Electro or Anemo, just like before.
Players must take a photo of Kichiboushi as a souvenir after unveiling him. If you’re a gamer who collects mementos like these. Make sure to get a decent shot because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The Great Snowboar King will come once one image is taken according to the quest’s prompt. And Genshin Impact players must defeat it.
Alternatively, instead of following the prompt, travellers might utilise their own camera. They can snap as many images as they want this way.
The confrontation against the Snowboar King will bring the quest in Area 1 to a close.
Unlike the adventures in Area 1, visitors to Area 2 merely need to bring Kichiboushi sightseeing. This time, they’ll pay a visit to Captain Beidou’s legendary ship, The Alcor, from Genshin Impact.
