Where To Find Yorrich In Pokemon Arceus. Every time players begin their exploration of one of Pokemon Legends: Arceus‘ enormous regions, the game sets up a Base Camp as a launch point. You’ll restock supplies, rest if necessary, and talk with Professor Laventon about your Pokedex progress before returning to Jubilife Village.
You can get by with only one Base Camp if you want to, but unless you’re rushing through the adventure, there’s no reason to. Even so, the ability to fast-travel from a different location on the map might be worth the little sidequest to unlock. And that’s exactly what you’ll be doing in the Cobalt Coastlands’ ‘Setting Up the Coastlands’ request. However, there is a catch: you must locate a man named Yorrich along the route.
Finding Yorrich can be a Psyduck-sized pain if you don’t have any navigational help. Psyduck, don’t worry about it. We’re here to assist you.
Initiating the Sidequest
It’s not exactly revelatory, but you’ll need unlocked access to the Cobalt Coastlands before you can start ‘Setting Up the Coastlands.’ This is accomplished by achieving two objectives. To begin, complete the main quest assignments until you reach the fight with Noble Lilligant. The Survey Corps is officially ready to go the beach after a few cutscenes.
In addition, you must achieve Star Rank 3. Captain Cyllene analyses your Star Rank on a regular basis before assigning you to new places. By the time the plot reaches this point, you could be considerably higher; on the other hand, if you’ve been hurrying, you could still be Star Rank 2. If that’s the case, boost those points a little more.
Examine your map. If you’re new to the Cobalt Coastlands, many of the segmented sections will be unnamed, so if Sand’s Reach isn’t stated anywhere, here’s a quick way to locate your way: In the southeastern portion, seek for the hand-shaped peninsula. The hand shape is apparent – it has five fingers and all. Honestly? It’s a little excessive.
Gully may be found to the south and east of Aipom Hill at first. When you speak with her, ‘Setting Up to the Coastlands’ begins. Gully will lead you to Sand’s Reach’s “palm,” where the search will begin.

Where to Find Yorrich
Yorrich can appear to be a royal hassle to locate if you don’t know where to look. This is made worse by the fact that he turns out to be so close to Gully that one may expect to see him just a few feet away. If it doesn’t work out, the most enticing option is to run up Sand’s Reach’s “arm” and go on a wild Zangoose chase with no end in sight.
If only Yorrich’s character model had loaded a little quicker. He is, in reality, just above the position of the hand’s “thumb.” (Or his pinky finger, if you’re looking at things from a different angle.) Except for the fact that Yorrich is being pursued by a Level 34 Chatot, that’s all there is to it.
You’ll win Yorrich’s thanks if you slay this beast — that is, knock this precious avian gently unconscious or soothe its life with a well-timed catch. The Cobalt Coastlands’ second Base Camp unlocks, and you’re transported back to Gully.
