Her aggressive skill set keeps her in the front of the party’s formation, allowing her to slash through her foes. However, several of her most potent skills can’t be utilised at will since they lead her to suffer a severe debuff.

Hellion Features
The Hellion possesses a lot of medium-to-high-damage attacks, and practically all of her offensive talents provide some damage in addition to their main effects. Skill Selections
Wicked Hack
Without having to become Winded, the Hellion may do moderate damage with this basic strike. Wicked Hack may be upgraded with a Mastery Point to raise its damage and critical hit rate somewhat, although this is better left for later in the game when you’ve completed all of your priority upgrades.
Wicked Hack can be swapped with Iron Swan if you expect to meet an enemy who needs to be immediately rooted out from the rear of the enemy’s formation. Iron Swan is functionally identical to the Black Swan, with the exception that it can only target enemies at the rearmost position.

Bleed Out
Only the front of the party can use Bleed Out, and it only attacks the frontmost adversary. It does similar damage to Wicked Hack, but it also causes Bleed. Because this skill makes the Hellion winded, you should always follow it up with Bloodlust or Adrenaline Rush.
Bloodlust
This is an important skill for the Hellion because it is one of the ways to get rid of Winded. It also gives the user a bonus that increases the user’s damage against Bleeding foes by 20%. If you have other Bleed-heavy heroes in your party, such as the Jester or the Highwayman, use Bloodlust at the start of the fight, even if you don’t need to remove Winded yet. In the long term, this will spare the Hellion several turns because she won’t have to use Bleed to optimise her damage.
Bloodlust is a good candidate for a Mastery Point upgrade early on. The damage boost it provides against Bleeding targets increases to 30% when improved. If Bleed damage is a key component of your team’s strategy, improve Bloodlust as soon as possible after arriving at the first Inn and use it frequently.
Adrenaline Rush
Winded can also be removed with Adrenaline Rush. It also clears any Bleed stacks the Hellion has, which is very handy if your group includes an Occultist who uses Wyrd Reconstruction. In addition, the Hellion will heal herself every time she attacks after using Adrenaline Rush. When you enhance this incredibly effective recovery talent, it boosts the potency of its recurrent heal and makes it cure Blight and Burn as well.
Howling End
Howling End is the Hellion’s ace in the hole when it comes to all-out assaults. It does 8-14 damage without any modifiers and ignores Block, making it suitable for bringing down armoured adversaries. Howling End has the potential to be one of your party’s most powerful attacks. Thanks to Bloodlust and any extra damage increases you can apply. Because it causes the Hellion to get Winded after usage. Use it after an Adrenaline Rush or wait until the combat is over.
Consider investing a Mastery Point in this talent when you reach the second Inn. This will increase the skill’s power, ensuring double-digit damage before modifiers, a higher critical hit rate. And the ability to ignore Guarded and Blocked. Once the Hellion has mastered Howling End, few opponents will be immune from her wrath.
Trinkets, Quirks, and Combat Items
The Hellion’s best buddies are Scrap Grenades and Spike Balls. If you come across these fight items, give them to her right away. They’ll let her inflict Bleed on adversaries without having to use her action. Cutting down on the amount of preparation rounds required to use Bloodlust.
When distributing equipment, any Trinkets that improve the Hellion’s melee damage should be prioritised. Her critical hit rate is average when compared to other heroes, therefore boosting it would be justified. Keep an eye out for the Empty Stein and the Rotten Tomato. Which can only be equipped by the Hellion and dramatically improve her damage output. As long as she is in the frontmost position, the Empty Stein raises the damage of all her attacks by one-fourth.
