If you’re not doing quests in the right map, the Flooded Forest, Lightcrystal can be especially difficult to find.
You can get from mining outcrops in the Flooded Forest whether you’re doing Low Rank or High Rank quests in Monster Hunter Rise, unlike a lot of other forging materials.
If you’re not sure where to look for mining outcrops in the Flooded Forest, load into the zone and use your Detailed Map to locate them and make your way there for a chance to mine some Lightcrystal.
A Supporting Type for Gathering Palico can help you get Lightcrystal faster, but considering its many uses and the fact that it can found on both the LR and HR versions of the Flooded Forest map, it’s not a particularly difficult material to mine.
