How To Get Flame Sac In Monster Hunter Rise. Early on in Monster Hunter Rise, you’ll need a Flame Sac to build several weapons and Low Rank armour components, especially weapons, because the Flame Sac is a relatively in-demand component of a variety of weapons.
Because the Flame Sac is a Low Rank resource, you’ll have to hunt down Low Rank monsters to obtain it.
There are a few creatures you can slaughter to add to your stockpile of Flame Sacs. Luckily the easiest of them has the best chance of doing so.
The following monsters can be killed for a chance to receive. A Flame Sac on carve or as a mission reward:
- Aknosom
- Rathalos
- Rathian
- Basarios
- Anjanath
It’s worth noting that, unlike previous Monster Hunter games, capture in Monster Hunter Rise yields lower rewards than straight slaying.
In Monster Hunter Rise, you’ll want to keep to slaying monsters rather. Than capturing them if you want to get the Flame Sac and other equipment. Palicoes with the Pilfer skill can also be quite useful in terms of farming materials. Though this is something to keep in mind later on because Pilfer is a higher level Palico talent.
