How to get Gleamite in New World
Gleamite is mined from the Gleamite Chunk, a new resource node. After a random Gleamite Shower, these crystals will be dispersed around the map.
When a Gleamite shower starts, a gap in the sky opens, and gleamite meteors begin to fall. Go to the shower’s location and check for the Gleamite Chunks that can be mined on the ground. Gleamite Chunks will appear as enormous multicoloured crystals protruding from the ground. Showers can occur in a variety of areas around the map, therefore the Gleamite could appear in any of the territories.
Go to the nearest Winter Village and look for the Holiday Hut once you’ve mined some gleamite. To exchange 10 gleamite crystals for a Winter Token, you’ll need at least ten. Choose “Winter Token – Gleamite” from the Winter Convergence Tokens -> Token Creation category while interacting with the Holiday Hut.
For more information on different ways to earn Winter Tokens, see our Winter Token guide. Check out our Winter Village location guide if you’re having problems finding a Winter Village near you to trade in your gleamite.
Remember to keep your eyes to the skies and good luck gleamite hunting.
