Riot Games has recently experimented with new methods of telling stories within its game world, as demonstrated by Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. As with the League of Legends series Arcane, Ruined King features familiar characters from the original game within a self-contained storyline that requires no prior knowledge.
One of the many fantastic aspects of Ruined King is that players can take control of memorable characters such as Sarah Fortune and Illaoi while exploring new environments and dungeons. The Temple of Purification is one such dungeon. It appears fairly early in the game and contains a smattering of difficult enemies and puzzles.
One of the puzzles entails deciphering a complicated riddle and activating some bells. This puzzle must be solved correctly in order to progress through the dungeon and even unlocks an optional chest containing valuable loot. Therefore, for those interested in progressing through the game and obtaining Epic gear, here is how to solve the bell puzzle.

Puzzle 1
This first puzzle is necessary in order to progress further into the dungeon. Players can decipher the first parts of the riddle by reading the glowing monuments in the room. According to one tablet, the stag is skittish at sunrise, and thus prey must awaken before its predator.
The other tablet will state that when the crow falls asleep, the owl begins hunting. Finally, a “Hymn of Awakening” monument adjacent to the bells provides additional critical information. It states that the motion of the day breaks the stillness of night and that the morning stirring initiates the motion of the day.
According to the hymn, players must ring the bells in the order in which each animal begins and ends its daily hunting cycle. That is, the crow bell must be rung first, followed by the stag bell, the bear bell, and finally the owl bell. This should unlock the dungeon door, bringing players closer to confronting Viego the Ruined King himself.
Puzzle 2
This second puzzle is optional, but necessary for new players of Ruined King who wish to open the secret chest. Further into the dungeon, a floor puzzle indicates that the stag defeated the owl twice before being defeated three times. This one is simpler; simply ring the stag and owl bells twice. This should reveal a secret door adjacent to the first pathway that contains a large amount of treasure, including the Epic Null-Magic Mantle.
