Trading with a fellow BDSP player is the only way to get one. Players should ensure that the person they trade with trustworthy, as anyone abandon the trade once the Pokemon exchanged, returning the freshly evolved Alakazam to the original player. However, before trading, players must first obtain a Kadabra (or Abra) and then work their way up to developing it.
How to Get Kadabra
A Kadabra can found in the wild in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl in a few different locales. The first location is Route 215, where Kadabra has a 15% chance of showing up. The second location is on Victory Road’s second level (25 percent chance of random encounter). The third location is in the Grand Underground, notably in the Dazzling Cave and Stargleam Cavern biomes.

It may also found on Route 215, albeit with a lower likelihood of discovered than Kadabra. However, cautious when searching for Abra, as it might simply use Teleport to run at the outset of the encounter. Players should try utilising a Poke Ball (like a Quick Ball) right at the start of the encounter, or try to put it to sleep or paralyse it.
