How To Get Reaper Cloth In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl. The Pokemon series’ Reaper Cloth has been around for quite some time. This Held Item can be given to any Pokemon on the team to hold on to in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl, but it has no impact on them unless it’s given to a certain Ghost-type Pokemon that can be caught in this iteration of the Sinnoh area.

Before Getting the Reaper’s Cloth
Before getting their hands on the fabric in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, players must first obtain entrance to the Battle Zone island in the northeastern corner of the map, which contains numerous zones to explore, including the Survival Area, the Fight Area, and the Resort Area. Players will not be allowed to enter here until they have defeated the Elite Four and Cynthia, the Champion.
After that, players can take the ferry from Snowpoint City to the Battle Zone. To gain a step closer to the Reaper’s Cloth, players should head to the Resort Area.

Route 229
In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the Reaper’s Cloth is found on Route 229, and the best route to reach there is through the Resort Area. Players should proceed north from the area’s Pokemon Center until they reach Route 299. Two trainers will be stationed beside the route’s sign, preparing for a double battle. Continue beyond them and to the right. Trainers should look for a tree that they can cut down using the Hidden Move Cut. Following the use of Cut, a Poke Ball will appear near the woods, containing the Reaper’s Cloth item.

What is Reaper’s Cloth Used For?
In the Pokemon world, the Reaper’s Cloth is only used to evolve one Pokemon: the Ghost-type Dusclops. Dusclops will evolve into Dusknoir after being given the Reaper Cloth to hold, but only if the Dusclops is traded to another player. It may be in players’ best interests to find an online trading partner who will be respectful enough to return the Pokemon after exchanging. A random trainer might not be as cooperative.
