What exactly is alchemy?

Magic Cards Have Rebalanced
To shake up the meta for digital play, Alchemy includes rebalanced versions of established Standard cards. Between Standard set releases, players should expect these regular modifications to the format to promote a dynamic play experience.
What Is Alchemy and How Do I Play It?
Alchemy, like Historic, will be a digital-only format available on MTG Arena. Will available in both ranked and unranked Best-of-One and Best-of-Three matchups.

What are the prices of Alchemy boosters?
Alchemy boosters will cost 1,000 gold each or 3,000 gems for a total of fifteen boosters. The same price as Standard set boosters.
For 3,000 gems or 15,000 gold, a special Alchemy bundle including 20 Alchemy boosters will available—one purchase per player allowed.
