How To Level up Fast In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.Pokemon has made it easier for users to level up their teams over time. With the help of the permanent Exp. Pokemon will receive full Experience even if they are not in battle, thanks to the Share feature introduced in generation 6. Pokemon level up faster than in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum because Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are remakes that maintain characteristics from generation 8.
Despite this, for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the old techniques of levelling up faster in Diamond/Pearl have remained the same. Because Sinnoh has a difficult Elite Four and Champion, trainers should level up quickly and build a strong squad before heading to Victory Road.

Raise Friendship
Trainers and Pokemon will form a stronger bond as long as they remain in the party and do not faint in battle. Pokemon with a friendship level of 230 or higher will get 20% more experience in battle. Players can utilise the Poketch Friendship Checker or speak to the Happiness Checker in Hearthome Center to determine a Pokemon’s friendship level.
If the Happiness Check for the player’s Pokemon states the following, then their Pokemon should get extra Experience:
- It is quite accommodating to you. I’m sure you’ll take good care of it. (230-254)
- It is completely enamoured with you! I feel as if I’m intruding! (255)
For reference, any Pokemon’s maximum friendship level is 255.

When a Pokemon is equipped with the Lucky Egg, it gains 1.5 times greater battle experience. Additionally, a Pokemon with the Lucky Egg will stack Experience from the Exp Share.
In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, there are two ways to obtain Lucky Eggs:
- The Grand Underground’s Icy Cave area, which can be accessed through Acuity Lakefront, has a Lucky Egg. On the map, it’s the top leftmost room.
- Lucky Eggs can be purchased for 77 BP by players who have defeated the Elite Four and visited the Battle Tower (Battle Points).
Defeat Hideaway Pokemon
When fully evolved Pokemon or Pokemon at their second evolution stage are defeated, they will get extra experience. Each Pokemon species has a varied amount of Experience Yield, with evolved Pokemon having more than its pre-evolved counterparts. There are, however, a few exceptions. Chansey, for example, has a base experience output of 395.
Pokemon found in Hideaways are usually stronger than those found in the wild.
The following are some hidden gems to visit:
- Glacial Cavern
- Bigbluff Cavern
- Fountainspring Cave
Challenge Trainers to a Rematch
Players will be able to challenge trainers to a rematch if they have obtained the Vs. Seeker. Certain trainers, such as Ace Trainers or Veterans, are worth fighting for over others. When beaten, these NPCs will have higher-leveled Pokemon and more money to hand out.
Gym Leaders and the Elite Four can be challenged for a rematch in the postgame. Be aware that this battle will be considerably more difficult than the first. The struggle, though, will be worthwhile.
