The introduction of a new character is one of the most thrilling moments in Genshin Impact, especially as the game progresses. However, once a restricted character banner used up, gamers must wait for a banner re-run in order to pull for the character they want. The game’s restricted weapon banners follow the same system.
In the universe of Genshin Impact, banner re-runs have grown quite prevalent, and it appears that every new update contains two banners, a new character, and a banner re-run. The official live webcast for update 2.3 announced the material that would be available in the next update, which includes two new playable characters: Itto and Gorou.
Along with artefacts, weapons are an important aspect of a character’s development. Choosing the appropriate weapon can have a significant impact on a DPS character’s damage output. The brand new weapon – Redhorn Stonethresher – officially introduced by the official Genshin Impact Twitter account in a recent post.
The following are the stats for the new claymore:
- Weapon type: Claymore
- Rarity: five-star item
- Base attack: 542
- Secondary stat: Critical Damage
- Secondary stat value: 88.2%
- Passive: Defence increased by 28%. Normal charged Attack damage increased by 40% of Defence
It should noted that all of these stats are from the weapon’s Refinement rank 1 form, which implies that pulling this weapon numerous times will raise some of its stats. The Redhorn Stonthresher a claymore created for the forthcoming Arataki Itto character. Because his damage output scales with Defense, unlike most meta DPS characters, the new weapon will be less flexible when it comes to selecting the ideal wielder.
Gorou is a fresh new Geo character who will be joining Arataki Itto on his banner. Because they have such a fantastic synergy, developer miHoYo put Gorou under the same brand as Itto. Gorou’s whole arsenal built around having numerous Geo users in his group. If he coupled with two or more Geo characters, he one of the game’s weakest characters. According to a recent post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, a Geo party with Albedo, Itto, Zhongli, and Gorou has slightly more DPS potential than a Geo party with Bennet instead of Gorou.
