However, there is a difficult process to unlock this specific catalyst. After completing the dungeon, fans must return inside to battle the Reaver Vandals and open some chests. So, if you want to quickly upgrade your powerful rocket launcher in Destiny 2, here’s how to get the Exotic Catalyst.

First Exotic Catalyst Chest
The first chest can found near where players cross the crystal bridge. The Reaver Vandal should appear in the top right corner, and it critical to only damage the Reaver until the “Burden by Riches” debuff applied.
Once that obtained, fans will only have about 30 seconds to return to the bridge’s beginning and open the chest at the top of the metal grating. Of course, nothing will come out of the chest, but don’t worry, this is all part of the adventure.
Second Exotic Catalyst Chest
The second chest is located after a long red-lit stairwell with a falling boulder trap. Continue down the corridor until fans come across a second Reaver Vandal near some boxes.
Jump up those boxes to the opening in the air duct on the ceiling once players have received the debuff. Continue turning right until gamers enter a new, larger room. To open the second chest, jump forward onto the platform and then to the platform on the right-hand side.
Third Exotic Catalyst Chest
After completing the Fallen Shield encounter, fans can open the third chest. Aim the cannon at the dome-shaped buildings with purple coverings near the mini waterfall. The third Reaver Vandal will be located near the dome building, near the back cave wall.
