Gem Fragments Outside Of Seven Vaults All Locations In Fortnite. Collecting gem fragments is one of the week one challenges in Fortnite’s latest Chapter 3 Season 1 content. These aren’t easy to come by, and you’ll need to know where to find seven different vaults to get your hands on them. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find Gem Fragments outside seven Fortnite vaults.
As always, there are several ways to complete this challenge. So you may only need our help in one or two places. We’ll go over a few different vault locations below so you can cross this one off your list quickly. Seven Vaults is the name of the vaults, and you only need to visit six of them to collect enough Gem Fragments to complete the quest.
If you can’t find this quest in your log, it’s because it’s only available to Shanta. Shanta is one of the skins included in the Fortnite Chapter 3 Battle Pass. So you’ll need to spend V-Bucks to unlock these quest lines.

Where to Collect Gem Fragments from outside Seven Vaults in Fortnite
In Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1, there are seven Seven Vaults locations. Which can be found at the following locations:
- East of Chonker’s Speedway
- On an island east of the Sanctuary
- Northeast Fortnite island
- Southwest of Coney Crossroads
- Northwest Fortnite island
- West Fortnite Island

1.Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
The first gem and Seven Vault location can be found in the southeast corner of the island, east of Chonker’s Speedway. It is located on the ground floor of the southernmost building. If you drop here, you can glide in through the roof and quickly pick up the gem fragment by walking into it.
2. Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
On the far east side of the Fortnite island, there is a small group of islands east of the Sanctuary. You should head to the west side of the southernmost island. The gem fragment is in the building’s basement, right in front of the vault door.
3. Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
The third Seven Vaults location is on Fortnite’s northeastern coast. The structure is hidden beneath a few trees. A patrol is going in and out of the building. Drop down to the building’s lower level and collect the Gem Fragment.
4. Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
The fourth Gem Fragment can be found in the map’s centre, southwest of Coney Crossroads and south of Loot Lake. You’re looking for the building on the east side of a fairly large compound. Drop down to the lower level and pick up the fragment, as usual.
5. Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
The fifth Gem Fragment and Seven Vault location is located in northwest Fortnite island, in a snowy compound hidden in the mountains. You’re looking for the building in the centre of the compound. Also known as Seven Outpost II. To obtain the fragment, descend to a lower level.
6. Seven Vaults Gem Fragment Location
The final Gem Fragment and Seven Vaults location we’ll cover in this guide is on Fortnite island’s far west side. There is a river that leads to the ocean. An outpost perched atop a small mountain on the river’s west bank. The sixth Gem Fragment you need to collect is on the building’s lower level.
