All players who have earned level 70 and have the Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker expansion will be eligible to take on the Sage job. Those who do not have the expansion will be unable to unlock the class. When they talk to the NPC, they will only have a normal discussion and the Sage class will not unlocked. Getting the class is simple if you have the expansion. And it just takes a few minutes if you have rapid travel options in Limsa Lominsa.

Where To Start Sage Job In FFXIV Endwalker
Both of the new classes unlocked in the original game’s beginning stages. The Reaper can found in Ul’Dah, and the Sage can found in Limsa Lominsa, both on the Lower Decks (shown in the image above)
An NPC will be waiting for you at the location shown by the player icon on the map above. When you speak with the NPC, you will given everything you need to unlock the Sage class and begin your healing quest in the Endwalker expansion.
