How To Defeat Forgotten Thresher Boss In Solar Ash. This boss is similar to the one before it, but with an explosive twist. In Solar Ash, here’s how to defeat Forgotten Thresher.
Forgotten Thresher, a massive whale-like flying monster, is the second boss in Solar Ash. This demon formed of dark slime and massive bony plates will fly about the game’s second area’s tall structures. Players will have to board it from below, just like they did with the game’s initial boss, Crater Ouroboros. Forgotten Thresher, on the other hand, has a more explosive defence mechanism than the preceding boss.
Forgotten Thresher’s bottom will periodically rain down explosive things that will detonate when they touch the ground. Avoiding these can be difficult, but so can running on the boss’ back to exploit their weaknesses. Fortunately, there are some things to keep in mind that can make this Solar Ash boss fight go more smoothly.

Grapple Onto Forgotten Thresher
Where & How To Grapple Onto The Boss
The only genuine method to get on top of the boss is to grapple with him. If you’re using a PlayStation controller, hit the R1 button to grapple. Furthermore, players can extend their grappling range by activating the timeskip ability with the Circle button. Timeskip also temporarily slows down time, making it simpler to set up a shot. The grappling point for mounting the monster is located beneath the centre of its body, close to where the bombs are located.

The Bomb Attack & How To Avoid It
When approaching Forgotten Thresher from below, be cautious because it will periodically drop explosives from its underside. Each time the player is hit by one of these explosives, they will lose a shield cell. To avoid being hit by these bombs, approach Forgotten Thresher’s grappling point from the side rather than racing up to it while under the boss’ torso.
Can You Get On Top Of Forgotten Thresher By Jumping Off Of A Building?
Some players may believe that the surrounding buildings will help them get to the boss’ weak points faster, but this is not the case. Each strike against Forgotten Thresher must begin with a grapple onto the vulnerable area beneath its body. As a result, players would be unable to locate any weak places by jumping onto its back from a building.
Hit Forgotten Thresher’s Main Weak Point 3 Times
Weak Points
As with all bosses in Solar Ash, players must hit Forgotten Thresher’s main weak point three times, but they must first access it by hitting several lesser weak spots. These minor weak points appear as light green poles that must be hit with melee attacks (Square button) and aerial blobs that must be hit by grappling to them (R1).
How To Get To Each Weak Point Quickly
Players must sprint along the monster’s back to hit each small weak area, but there is a timer that is continually counting down. If one takes too long to reach a weak area and the countdown expires, a surge of energy will swarm throughout the boss’ body. This attack will return the player to the nearest checkpoint while also depleting one shield charge. Skating (L2) and boosting (R2) across the bone plates allows players to travel faster.
