How To Get Gold In Age of Empires 4

How To Get Gold In Age of Empires 4 The main goal of Age of Empires 4 is to build the best nation possible. Of course, this is in addition to stomping on the opposing side of the battle. To win the war, players must manage their resources effectively. Without it, civilization will be unable to progress through the ages.

Each faction in Age of Empires 4 has its own resource requirements. Delhi Sultanate, for example, can easily play without spending much Gold. However, gold is the most important commodity for most civilizations’ growth. Inability to manage and farm gold can result in a quick loss. Players can construct their Golden Empire in a variety of ways.

Methods for Obtaining Gold in Age of Empires 4

These methods can be used by all civilizations to collect gold, with some nations having a slight advantage over others.

Gold mining

The area where players begin in the Dark Age will have one of each resource required to develop the economy. One of the resources is gold, which can be obtained through a gold vein. Players can construct a Mining Camp nearby and then assign Villagers to mine it. Mining becomes more difficult as the game progresses, as players compete for the remaining Gold Veins.

The Mongols are the best faction for mining. They have a Landmark, Steppe Redoubt, to advance to the Castle Age. It functions similarly to a Ger, increasing the amount of Gold dropped in it by 50%.

Trading

When a player reaches Feudal Age, he or she can construct a Market that allows them to trade with other friendly or neutral Markets. To do so, players can purchase a Trader and instruct it to trade from a specific Market. The Trader will then go through the same steps, visiting both markets and generating gold. The amount of gold produced by this method is determined by the distance between the two markets.

Some Civilizations, such as the Mongols or the French, have Landmarks that function as improved Markets, providing benefits to trading.

Religion

Players will be able to recruit Religious units to heal their armies during the Castle Age. These units can also collect Relics and seize Sacred Sites.

When collecting Relics, players can take them to their Monastery to store them. The Monastery will then begin generating Gold based on the number of Relics contained within it.

During the Imperial Period, the Chinese could construct up to three Pagodas. Although each Pagoda can only hold one Relic, it generates more Gold. Meanwhile, the Holy Roman Empire’s Landmark, Regnitz Cathedral, can be constructed in order to progress to the Castle Age. It multiplies the gold generated by relics by 200 percent and can hold up to three relics.

Sacred Sites are one of the three ways to win in Age of Empires 4. Capturing a Sacred Site during the Castle Age generates a steady stream of Gold. In the Dark Age, the Delhi Sultanate can construct Mosques and conduct Sanctity research. It allows them to capture Sacred Sites earlier and collect twice as much gold from them.

Some Civilizations provide more options for generating gold. It is sometimes even more viable than traditional methods.

Mills in England

When playing as the English during the Imperial Era, players can upgrade a technology called Enclosures inside their Mills. It improves their farms so that one Gold is produced every 3.5 seconds.

Taxes and Chinese

Almost every structure in Chinese Civilization generates taxes. These taxes must be collected by an Imperial Official. Players can hire up to four Imperial Officials, who will automatically collect Gold if they are near certain structures.

Furthermore, when progressing to the Feudal Age, the Chinese Landmark, Imperial Academy, increases the tax accumulation of nearby buildings by 100%.

Rustic Cabins And Hunting Cabins

Instead of Mills, Rus has a unique building called Hunting Cabins at the start of the Dark Age. It works in the same way as Mills, but with one exception. This one-of-a-kind structure generates Gold based on the number of trees surrounding it. There is no limit to the number of Hunting cabins that players can construct, so it can be a significant boost to the Rus economy. When you reach the Castle Age, Rus’ Landmark, High Trade House, becomes a Hunting Cabin and generates 200 percent more Gold from trees.

Furthermore, Rus units, particularly Scouts, can earn extra Gold by killing animals scattered around the map. Hunting animals accumulates Gold until the player reaches a total of 500.

Mongol Raiders

The more players who raid with Mongols, the more resources they will plunder. During the Dark Ages, Mongols can immediately construct a Stable, giving them a significant military advantage over other Civilizations. Players will gain 50 Food and Gold for burning down enemies’ buildings. The amount of Gold and Food produced in this manner can be doubled by upgrading a Raid Bounty technology found in Ovoo.
