Halo Infinite: How To Get Credits The Halo games have always had both impressive single-player campaigns and expansive multiplayer modes. Halo Infinite defies this trend by releasing its multiplayer portion for free first and saving the paid campaign for later. Given the success of Halo Infinite on Steam, this risk appears to have paid off.
Halo Infinite is, at least in part, attempting to stand on its own as a free-to-play title, which means it has a free-to-play economy. Players can contribute to the game by purchasing armors, weapon skins, and the Halo Infinite battle pass.
These, like most free-to-play games, are purchased with the game’s internal currency: credits. Despite the fact that it lacks multiple

Purchasing Halo Infinite Credits
The most obvious way to obtain credits is to purchase them directly from the in-game store. The button to purchase credits can be found in the bottom left corner of the shop tab. The following are the prices:
- 500 Credits for $4.99 USD
- 1000 Credits for $9.99 USD
- 2200 Credits for $19.99 USD
- 5600 Credits for $49.99 USD
- 11500 Credits for $99.99 USD
As shown above, armour skins typically cost around $20 USD, and vehicle skins cost around $15 USD, though these prices are subject to change in the future. The battle pass’s paid track costs $10 USD.
Looking for Alternative Credit Methods
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the only way to obtain credits is through direct purchase. There is no credit reward for climbing Halo Infinite’s ranks or completing battle pass challenges. These are only cosmetic items, so it’s not a pay-to-win situation, but it’s still disappointing.
That being said, it is possible that it will not remain that way indefinitely. While 343 Industries’ current priorities are game balance and bug fixes, it’s possible that future seasons will introduce new ways to earn credits for free.

The Nerf Dilemma
While this isn’t a way to earn credits, it is a way to obtain an item without spending money. Or, at the very least, refrain from spending money in-game. Nerf is selling new guns based on Halo Infinite’s weapons to coincide with the game’s release. Each package also includes a code for unlocking a weapon skin. It’s not exactly a steal, and the viability of this purchase will vary from player to player.
