What is Dragon Ball: The Breakers all about?
Dragon Ball: The Breakers, which was announced earlier this week, is a brand new Dragon Ball game in development at Bandai Namco. In a deadly game of hide and seek, seven ordinary Survivors face off against one superpowered Raider. Think Dead By Daylight on a grander scale.
The Raider has trapped the Survivors in a pocket dimension, and the only way out is to use Bulma’s Super Time Machine. The problem is that you have an entire city to search and a superhuman monster on your tail, so you’ll need to use stealth, strategy, and the occasional diversion tactic to keep the Raider off your trail long enough to find the Super Time Machine. The Raiders are on the other side. Raiders can choose between Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu, and their only goal is to annihilate the Survivors. Raiders are naturally stronger than Survivors and have the standard Dragon Ball abilities, such as fast flight. They can, however, complete special game objectives that will level them up and increase their capabilities. Cell, for example, can absorb Survivors to reach higher forms, and once there, he’ll be nearly unstoppable.
