Skill Level
If you want to improve your Skill Rank, there is only one way to do so: play ranked matches. You can accomplish this through a variety of means, but it all boils down to one simple task. Still, here are a few pointers to get you started.
- Play with your Friends: Players do much better when there is communication and spirit between their friends. Your rank will go up much faster if you work together instead of being separate from your teammates.
- Play against higher ranks: If you know someone who is willing to let you play their account at a higher level, you’d be surprised at how much you’ll learn by playing against more experienced enemies.
Season Rank
Increasing your Season Rank has a relatively straightforward method, but there are extra options that may give you a boost.
- Do XP Challenges: Daily and weekly XP challenges reward you with XP after a match. Some require you to eliminate players with a particular weapon, complete a specific task, etc. Usually, they award you anywhere between 100 XP to 250 XP, which can skyrocket your Rank a couple of levels quickly.
- Buy/Earn Boosts: You can use Halo Credits to buy XP Boosts. There are three Boosts you can purchase:
- XP Grant: Immediately grants you 250 XP.
- Double XP Boost: These can be purchased or earned at some levels in the Battle Pass.
- Level Up: These can be purchased for 200 Halo Credits. They immediately send you to the next level in your Season Rank.
