How To Break Out The Caged Wolf In Inscryption.Players must break the caged wolf out of its pen in order to proceed through Act 1 of Inscryption, but they must first obtain its card.
The initial act of Inscryption is comparable to a horror escape room. Players are trapped in a room with a deranged game master named Leshy, who forces them to play his deck-building card game or die. Various artefacts hidden throughout the floor will allow players to solve puzzles, obtain talking cards, and add to their decks. The Caged Wolf Statue is one of these puzzles.
The Caged Wolf Statue in Inscryption
Players will notice the imprisoned wolf statue next to the globe and human skull, as well as the smoke puzzle on the other side, when they stand up. Players must first complete numerous steps in order to free the wolf from its cage and solve the riddle. When the player becomes concerned about the caged wolf, they will most likely have previously accomplished these stages; however, below is a list of them:
- Unlock the safe in Inscryption using the code 273. This code is located on the first page of the instruction book, which is located to the player’s left when sitting at the table.
- Take out the Stink Bug talking card and the key from the safe.
- Use the key on the locked wooden drawers to the right of the caged wolf on the same table.
- Solve the sliding puzzles 1 (The Skink card) and 2 (the Ant Queen and Ant Cards), which will unlock sliding puzzles 3 and 4.
- Solve sliding puzzle 3, and inside will be the Caged Wolf Card.
The Caged Wolf Card
The Caged Wolf card in the indie game Inscryption requires two blood to cast. It has no attack and has a defence of six, and it can’t be sacrificed. Put it at a place on the board where it can take a lot of punishment.

When the card finally hits zero life, the room will shake.
A loud noise will rattle everything on the table for a split second, then the Caged Wolf Card will turn into a regular wolf. Leshy will say “What was that?”
Once the card combat is finished, get up from the table and unroll the map. The cage on the caged wolf statue will be removed, and players can take it up and place it next to the squirrel statue. This will give players access to the knife, which they’ll need to complete the storey and solve the clock puzzle in Inscryption.
