How To Find Conduction Components In Genshin Impact. The “Shadow of the Ancients” limited-time event from Genshin Impact is a three-part pseudo-treasure-hunting minigame. Phase 1 requires players to visit Teyvat locations and conduct “Investigative Surveys” using a new instrument known as “Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector.” The device functions as a metal detector for conduction components, which are fragments of ancient technology buried in Genshin Impact’s vast globe. Digging up the components will aid in solving the riddle of an aberrant Ruin Grader, but there are a few things players should do before.

Shadow of the Ancients: Getting Started
Travelers will be asked to explore a Ruin Grader on Tsurumi Island after starting the event quest and chatting with Katheryne. Fight the Ruin Grader until it’s defeated once – the Ruin Grader will halt to resurrect, and Paimon will tell you to return to Katheryne. After speaking with Katheryne, teleport to Ritou and face Hosseini. Hosseini will give over the Chaos Prospector to the Traveler and instruct him to collect conduction components in order to fix a gadget used in the research of the self-repairing Ruin Grader.
How to Use Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector
To deploy this Sumeru technology, players must first equip Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector from their inventory. A Chaos Prospector will appear as a hovering sphere with light pointing in the location of the concealed relic once it has been activated. To make sure they’re on the proper route, players should explore in the assigned direction, dropping extra Prospectors along the way. The first Prospecto removed from the globe when a fourth Prospector summoned. There is no limit to the number of Prospectors that can exist at any given time; however, there is a limit of three that can exist at the same time.
Exquisite Chest, Enemy Battle, Unknown Device, and ultimately, the Conduction Component indicated by the Prospectors. There’s no skipping the Chest or airlocked fight and locating the component beforehand; the points always spawn in the same spots, one after the other. The Unknown Device resembles Genshin’s time trials or the Ley Line Monolith base in appearance, although it presently has no discernible function. For a total of 16 searches, players will do four searches at four different places.
