When you initially fight the Show Guardians from the fog, you’ll shortly notice that they keep reappearing. The battle will never be over. There is a way out of this lunacy. A metallic head structure stands in front of the Guardians, emitting fog from its nostrils. Scanning it with your visor will reveal further information about the source and allow you to begin the escape plan.
Rocket must skitter across the ground, blowing it up, as this is the only way to destroy it. Rocket can enter by two distinct entrances. The first is through a fracture in the left side of the rock. It’s easy to spot with Starlord’s visor because it’s highlighted in yellow. Hold the triangle button to command Rocket to pass through it (or Y on Xbox).

If you can hold out for a minute or so, Rocket will be able to blow out half of the source’s face. You must now persuade Rocket to enter a different doorway. But there’s a snag. On the right side, he must get through a waterfall. Rocket, on the other hand, despises water. Rocket will refuse to go through if you command him to. Continue to press him to complete the section while battling the Shadow Guardians.
The fog will overpower your friends Groot and Gamora. Rocket will ultimately crawl into the water, conquering his fears and rescuing the day, with so much burden on his shoulders. Who knew the little rodent had such a big heart?
