How to Defeat the Harvest Child Lair In Darkest Dungeon 2: Boss Fight Guide

How to Defeat the Harvest Child Lair In Darkest Dungeon 2: Boss Fight Guide. The Foetor is one of the zones in Darkest Dungeon 2 that you can explore, and it also has its own Lair. Here’s our guide to defeating the Harvest Child boss in Darkest Dungeon 2’s Harvest House Lair.

The Harvest House Lair in The Foetor

There are three encounters in The Foetor’s Harvest House Lair, the third of which pits you against the Harvest Child boss from Darkest Dungeon 2. Here’s what to expect from the opponents in the battle:

  • Harvest Child – 120 HP; low resistances to burn, bleed, and stun; average resistance to blight.
  • Fetid Meat – 47 HP; low resistances to burn, bleed, and stun; average resistance to blight.
  • Putrid Meat – 51 HP; low resistances to burn, bleed, and stun; average resistance to blight.

Hunger is the most important mechanic to be aware of in this battle. Your characters will experience overwhelming hunger at times. This may lead them to shift positions and move around, perhaps disabling skills that need precise location.

Only until they reach the frontlines will their hunger be satisfied. Feed The Hunger is the only option open to a character. It harms either of the two meats, but it also gives your character a -15 percent maximum HP and a Stress pip.

It’s critical to attack the Harvest House boss in Darkest Dungeon 2 using abilities that can cause burn or bleed. Blight may also work in some circumstances, albeit it is susceptible to resistance. Its HP will be depleted as a result of the damage-over-time effects. Because your characters won’t always be able to attack owing to placement changes, this is extremely useful.

Finally, make use of your HP and Stress healing talents. Because of the Ounce of Prevention skill, the Plague Doctor is beneficial in this regard.

Remember that only the Harvest Child must be killed for the battle to conclude. After that, you’ll get some random gifts and trinkets. Oh, and in Darkest Dungeon 2, attempt to defeat the other Lair bosses as well. In The Sprawl, you can fight the Librarian, and in The Tangle, you can fight the Dreaming General.
