World War Z Nintendo Switch Release Date The popular zombie shooter World War Z, based on the novel of the same name, has finally been given a release date for the Nintendo Switch. It’s only a week away, which is surprising. On November 2, the game will be released for the Nintendo Switch.
Because the Nintendo Switch is far less powerful than even the PS4 and Xbox One, games like this are always a surprise when they make their way to the console. The Witcher 3 and The Outer Worlds are two notable examples.
Although not all major game ports perform well on the Nintendo Switch, getting any of these titles onto the console is no easy task. Matt Karch, CEO of World War Z developer Saber Interactive, described porting the game to the Switch as “the most difficult thing we have had to do.” With their track record of porting games to the Switch, expect this zombie co-op game to be one of the better Switch ports.
The game was first released in 2019, but it has received regular updates and improvements since then. Aftermath added three new locations to the gamut.
On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, owners of the game will receive a free upgrade.
