Tsurumi Island has opened its doors, and Genshin Impact players are exploring the island for treasure. Treasure Chests have become less common in recent months as the game tries to challenge high AR Travelers with resource rarity and new puzzle elements. The heavily laden Precious Chests greatly sought after by Genshin Impact enthusiasts. With a missing Seelie, the Precious Chest southwest of Chirai Shrine may appear unsolvable, yet the answer is simpler than players assume.
Electro Seelie Precious Chest Puzzle
A circular stone platform with an eight-pointed star emblem supports this Genshin Impact Precious Chest (close to the shoreline on the map). Access restricted by a red elemental lock. For the lock to broken, players must lead a total of four Electro Seelie to set up Seelie Courts nearby.
The first Electro Seelie found on a rocky outcropping above the Precious Chest, next to a gnarled tree. Follow the Seelie around the limited patches of land until she reaches the point of a sunken boat, which is obnoxiously out of reach. To return the Seelie to Seelie Court, use Kazuha, Venti, Keqing, Zhongli, Geo Traveler (may need a “tall man” character model for extra height) or a Wind Catcher. Climbing the cliff and jumping into the Seelie’s personal space is the only option for people without these Genshin Impact exploration lifesavers (and unwilling to make the trip for a Geo Resonance Traveler).
Players should look for its neighbour in the tree stump during the purchase of this Seelie and swoop down to trigger it (if they haven’t already). This delightful second Electro Seelie makes a beeline for the Precious Chest without wasting any time.
A Thunder Barrier has trapped the third Electro Seelie. The circular emblems centred in the shield indicate the varying strengths of Thunder Barriers. Thankfully, this Thunder Barrier is Electrogranum Level 1, thus all players need to do is pass through the Electrograna. A Thunder Sakura Bough found on a small cliff west of the Barrier. To contact the Seelie, summon the Electrograna and cross over the Thunder Barrier. Use the aforementioned characters or glide down the cliffside to reach this Electro Seelie, which is hovering quite high.
The most likely cause for players consulting a guide is the fourth Electro Seelie. Hunkered down in the fissure of two adjoining rock formations south of the Precious Chest is an unassuming Hilichurl hard at work digging in the dirt (refer to the picture below). If you defeat this Hilichurl, a hidden “Dig” dialogue will appear, triggering the summoning of the final Seelie.
Players don’t expect to find Seelies beneath the sand, but a vicious attitude toward Hilichurls will carry them far in Genshin Impact. To complete the pedestal’s illuminated star and open the Precious Chest, follow the Electro Seelie to its Seelie Court.
