Locations of New World Starmetal
The following are the best places to find Starmetal in New World:
- Brightwood
- Mourningdale
- Great Cleave
Brightwood
Brightwood isn’t the best place to gather resources in general, but there are three locations rich in Starmetal deposits. Brightwood’s three best Starmetal locations are:
- Bronzegrove
- East of Brightwatch
- Iron Bend
Bronzegrove
The first location is near the Azoth Tree in southeast Brightwood, in the Bronzegrove neighbourhood. Five Starmetal nodes can be found in and out of the cave near the tree. Because the cave is quite dark, you should be able to spot the glowing Starmetal deposits fairly quickly.
Brightwatch to the east
Brightwood’s mountainous region lies east of Brightwatch and southeast of the Cathedral de Vasquez. There are dozens of Starmetal deposits ripe for mining in these mountains.

Bend in the Iron
Iron Bend is the general area, and there are numerous metal deposits in the mountains just outside the wooden walls. There are a few Starmetal nodes in this Iron Bend area.
Mourningdale
Mourningdale, along with Great Cleave, is the best zone in New World for Starmetal. It’s a level 45 to 50 zone, so you’ll have to wait until the mid-game to farm some Starmetal here. Most players won’t have reached the appropriate level of mining until this point.
There are too many Starmetal locations to list, so use the map below to find a convenient location for you.
Excellent Cleave
Last but not least is the Great Cleave zone, another 41-50 region in New World with a high concentration of Starmetal deposits. You won’t have to look far if you find yourself in this zone looking for Starmetal. Follow the edge of the rocks from north to south, and every minute or two, you’ll come across a clump of Starmetal nodes.
There you have it, three prime zones in New World to find Starmetal. Remember that you must be mining level 100 to swing that pickaxe at a Starmetal deposit. While you’re between levels 30 and 40, aim for at least 100 mining. Otherwise, you will begin to fall behind and will be unable to utilise all of these locations.
