Grimmchild and Grimkin Novices/Masters
Make your way to Dirtmouth to see two tents on the far left after opening Grimm troupe search. The biggest is the Troupe Master Grimm, which provides you the charm of Grimmchild. This charm creates the Grimmchild, a tiny, bat-like being that attacks opponents and battles next to you automatically. Grimm then assigns you to upgrade the Grimmchild by collecting three flames by killing Grimkin Novices – unique opponents distributed across Hallownest only the Grimmchild is fitted may observed.
After all three flames collected, come back to Grimm. He upgrades the Grimmchild and then assigns you three additional flames to gather from the greater Masters. Then you may start the boss battle with the Troupe Master Grimm. After beating him, the Grimmchild improved again and the Grand Performance, the Charm Notch, and access to the last step of the ritual given for you.
The Grimkin Nightmares and Nightmare King Grimm
You will witness four flames strewn over Hallownest instead of three if you beat Grimm. These flames symbolise the Nightmares of Grimkin, which are far stronger than the preceding Grimkin. There will a member of the Grimm Troupe, Brumm, who may discovered in Deepnest, in addition to the Grimkin Nightmares. He suggests, when you talk to him, that you return, before handing you the flame, to “where everything began.”
Then one of two alternatives offered. You can either return to the Grimm Troupe and Dream Nail to the Nightmare King Grimm to complete the ritual and give you the full-fledged Grimmchild and the Ritual achievement, or you can take the suggestion of Brumm and return to where you initiated the search and bann the Grimm Troupe for good by destroying the Nightmare Lantern.
It should noted that leaving the chamber before completing the destruction of the lantern and returning to the room leads to the loss of Brumm. Return to Dirtmouth to locate an NPC called Nymm if you decide to banish it, and offer you the Carefree Melody Charms instead.
Divine and Unbreakable Charms
There NPC named Divine in the tent next to Grimm. Talking about the charms, she will consume these charms when possessing at least one of the three Fragiles Charms in her possession – Fragile Greed, Fragile Heart and Fragility. This is indeed helpful, as the charms will remain unbreakable and make them much more flexible and valuable when they return.
The problem is that it’s unbelievably costly to buy. The cost of unbreakable greed is 9,000 Geos, the cost of unbreakable heart 12,000 geos, and 15,000 unbreakable force. If Nightmare King Grimm defeated but all the Fragile Charms have not yet updated, she will stay behind until you.
Instead, you will never able to obtain Unbreakable Charms any way, if you opt to expel the Grimm Troup before upgrading everyone, and whatever fragile charmes you have offered will be left behind.
