How to complete the Chi of Yore Genshin Impact
To begin the side quest, players must travel to the ruins south of Wuwang Hill in Liyue. Travelers will encounter an NPC named Yan’er near the region’s Teleport Waypoint once they arrive.
Now, follow these steps to complete the quest Chi of Yore.
Investigate the ruin
After speaking with Yan’er, proceed to the location on the map and interact with the fragment guarded by a Ruin Hunter.
Defeat him and proceed to the three statues scattered across the marked area. They’re all clustered around the orange Gigantic Amber rocks. Interact with them before proceeding to the next step.
Ask the locals of Qingce Village about the fragments
Go to Qingce Village by going to the northwest corner of Wuwang Hill, and then get more information about the fragments from the village’s elder, Granny Ruoxin.
Search for the fragment near Geo statues
Go to the two remaining fragments after speaking with Granny Ruoxin. You’ll be able to find them easily because they’re both close to the village. To unlock the fragment, you must solve a quick puzzle. To interact with the statues, go in the order listed below.

Decipher the fragments
This is the final step in the Chi of Yore Genshin Impact quest.
Go to the highest point of Qingce Village to find the third and final fragment. It is located to the southeast of the village and to the north of Wuwang. You can get there faster if you use the teleport waypoint in the village and then head to where the cursor is.
Travelers must also solve a statue-related puzzle in order to unlock the final fragment. Follow this sequence to interact with the fragment and meet Granny Ruoxin again.
Find a way into the Vault and find the Treasure
After the second meeting with the elder, proceed to the Vault beneath a waterfall in the northwestern part of Qingce Village.
Players must use the three fragments to open the gate once they arrive. When you go inside, make sure to check your weapons and gather your team to fight some Ruin Guards, Treasure Hoarders, and a Ruin Hunter.
Report to granny
Return to the village and report to Granny at the end of the quest. You will then have completed the side quest and will be able to obtain additional rewards. Hidden Chi, the Crouching Dragon, is also unlocked here.
