Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 Map
You will find that the Season 8 map includes virtsually every point of interest (POI) returning to the name we’ve seen the last time you’ve played Fortnite Season 7 to the end. This includes the slightly modified Sludgy Swamp and the former Slurpy Swamp, and reverting to the common name of Holly Hedges by Holly Hatchery. Each other location has the same name, but can look quite different on the ground level. Let’s get into the reason.
Sideways Anomalies
This season’s biggest change called The Sideways. It is a different dimension and home to monsters never seen before. Think of him as a take on Stranger Things The Upside Down.
Players can access the sides by searching for anomalies in Sideways, portals to the world in which the image above is located. There new, exclusive S&F guns that can be found only at The Sideways. You want to stay far as you can, if you not prepared to enter The Sideways because of its existential threats. Like the Abductors of season 7, these areas will rotate with every map from place to place, allowing variation and unpredictability.
The War Effort
On day one of a new season, a Fortnite map will always be the beginning. Led by a new hero J.B. Chimpanski, the fight is being waged by every looper on the island. This is reflected in transformations of the island led by communal decisions, such as the construction of turret plants to fight the mysterious six-faced masters. Gold bars can be added by players to vote on future map changes, developing new weapons and unprecedented favourites.
Players will also find new resources across the Island, including Shadow Flopper fish and Shadow Stones, which allow temporary invisibility for their users to sneak past or sneak on your enemies.
