More trouble for CDPR as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher source code surfaces online.Since the introduction of the open world RPG back in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 studio CD project Red has made it a reality. The studio tested and tribulated multiple times, the biggest being hackers that affected several of its titles’ source code.
Earlier this year, the sources of games such Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 (RTX) seemed to have sold at an auction. The company worked hard to patch Cyberpunk 2077 to achieve a respectable standard as early as possible. this was really devastating news.
Of course, this news delayed key patches at the studio. It now seems, however, that another big question has begun to get up.

According to allegations from Data Breaches, after a condition of no further distribution had been found, the gang of hackers seemed to remove their listing from the auction. Instead, a big offer has been received from outside.
Hackers have access to the source code for games such as The Witcher 3, Thronebreaker and Cyberpunk 2077, according to claims.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a great success for CDPR in many respects, but a tone of infamy and an outrageous launch harmed the image of the game. When CDPR learned the attack in February, it issued a statement saying it would not negotiate with the perpetrators.
What will happen as a result of the source code leak is still up in the air, but it must be extremely distressing news for the developers.
Cyberpunk 2077 is still absent from the PlayStation Store, with CD Projekt Red not having a clear timeline as to when it can be back on.
The game has steadily been improving in key areas, and CDPR has a bunch of free DLCs planned for Cyberpunk 2077 fans.
